Health Care Voter Day took place on Sat., Oct. 27. Thanks to everyone who came to show your support for policies to build healthier communities.

If you want more Georgians to have access to quality, affordable health care, you’re invited to Health Care Voter Day on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 11:30am.

Join health advocates, leaders and neighbors to learn how Georgia can build healthier communities and a thriving future. Show your support for policy solutions like Medicaid expansion to help more Georgians live healthy, prosperous lives. Then connect with others who want every Georgian to have access to quality, affordable health care.

Featured speakers include:

  • Rev. Marlin D. Harris, Founding Pastor of New Life Church
  • Taifa S. Butler, Executive Director of the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute
  • Personal stories from Georgia’s coverage gap, reflecting the challenges faced by neighbors who can’t afford health insurance

Advocacy and civic organizations will be on hand to answer questions and chat about the future of health in Georgia. After the event, attendees from DeKalb County can walk over together to vote early and show state leaders that you’re a #HealthCareVoter.
