Georgia’s uninsured rate is the fifth worst in our country.
Medicaid expansion could provide affordable health coverage to 473,000 Georgians. Each year state leaders block expansion, Georgia loses out on $3 billion in federal funding for health coverage, resources that could put an insurance card in the pockets of almost half a million Georgians. This needs to change.
