Yosha

Both she and her husband lost their jobs within two months of each other in 2009. Two months afterwards, Yosha was diagnosed with breast cancer. Having no income and receiving a cancer diagnosis, she was able to get on Medicaid. However, traditional Medicaid did not cover cancer treatment and she gained access through Women's Choice Medicaid. When asked why she thought Medicaid was important she replied"there's no telling if I would even be alive today." She and her husband are now employed with full coverage. She has been cancer free since 2016.
