Ken

Ken is a paramedic in Glenwood. As a first responder, he prepares his ambulance every morning to serve his rural community, which relies heavily on his services. Ken has seen mom-and-pop stores and other businesses shut down as the community cope with the challenges that come with losing healthcare services. In 2014, the closure of the Lower Oconee Community Hospital in Glenwood left the roughly 8,000 residents of Wheeler County facing the harsh reality of having no hospital within the county.
