Expand Health Care to Include All Georgians

Cover Georgia is a broad coalition of community stakeholders and advocates from all across our state. We have launched a shared campaign to ensure that all Georgians regardless of income get the health coverage and care they need.

Georgia’s uninsured rate is the

third worst in our country.

Medicaid expansion could provide affordable health coverage to 400,000 Georgians. Each year that the Governor and state legislature refuse to expand Medicaid, Georgia loses out on $3 billion in federal funding that is meant to put an insurance card in the pockets of almost half a million Georgians and improve health care across the state. This must change.
